Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

Job Description

  • The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will direct and coordinate the entire activities of the company covering Operations, Marketing, Investments, Policy Initiatives, and Liaison with regulatory bodies.
  • The role holder will also be responsible for the development and achievement of the strategic goals and objectives of the company, and will report to the Board of Directors.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be expected to have the following qualifications/ competences amongst others:

  • Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degree in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines or an MBA
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience, with at least twelve (12) years in the financial services sector, and eight (8) years in top/ senior management positions
  • Good knowledge of the capital and money market instruments
  • Relevant professional qualification from a recognized institution or body

Detailed Job Description

  • The role will be responsible for developing and executing an effective marketing and penetration strategy as well as facilitating the achievement of the Company’s business goals and objectives by championing the efforts to acquire new customers and sell additional products and services to existing ones.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be expected to have the following qualifications/ competences amongst others:

  • Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degrees in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines
  • An MBA will be an added advantage
  • Must possess relevant professional qualifications
  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or other relevant role
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years post qualification experience, with at least eight (8) years in the financial sector and four (4) years in a middle management position(s)
